120 Studies - Day 5

Day 5

Sometimes you sit down to work, determined that the ideas will flow from your fingertips. That it will look effortless and simple. Bold swatches of color; their shapes intertwined just so. And there are days that works out. But sometimes, you sit down and what comes pouring from your hands is a very clear representation of the wackadoodle that you truly are. I suppose part of me wishes I was that 'effortless simplicity', but most of me realizes that I'll never be simple. Interesting? Yes. We'll see what tomorrow brings.

I've decided to do a summer project with my little watercolor experiments. I'll be doing one every day for the next 120 days. It will be interesting to see how they progress. I have much to learn!
